Sometimes and assembled product needs to be disassembled in order to recover all the parts (say on a RMA return). The simplest method of doing this is to create a Work Order as if you were going to manufacture the part. The explosion of the parent part is in effect the disassembly of the part. Edit the picklist, and in PRO source location as ~Inspection and the destination as ~Stores. When you click the picklist button, the disassembled parts will be returned to Stores (or whatever location you chose).
Then, transfer the product that was disassembled to ~Backflushwip because it no longer exists or can be counted.
