Changing Leadtimes in Time Definition from Months to Days.

Problem:  Leadtimes have been entered in the Itemmaster as days, but the time definition is set to months.  Then, leadtimes (in days) are incorrectly exported to MRPlitePlanner as months.

Perform the following procedure to change the Time Definition from Months to Days ….

Open ERPlite.  On the left side of the Switchboard, select "Mfg Orders".  Next, on the right side select "Shop Floor Control Configuration". Then further on the right, click the button "OK".  This will open the "Shop Floor Control Configuration" form.

Click the button "1.  Open Time Definition".  This will open the form "TimeDefinition", which is where actual changes can be made.

Fig2

The big white box in the lower middle of the form shows the unit that lead times are stored in the products table.  Currently selected is months, which is incorrect for your  data.   Now click on "Days" in the white box, to save leadtimes as days.  The little box to the left labelled "1 Period ="   should contain a "1"(one).  If it does not, then change the entry to "1".

NOTE: The above form "Time Definitions" is very similar in look to the "Scheduling Plans" form used for exporting data to MRPlitePlanner.  Make sure you are using the correct form.
Now click the button "Save", at the botton right of the form.

A message box will be displayed asking "....  Do you want to automatically convert all existing Data Accordingly?".   Click the button "No".  This will change the unit/definition of leadtimes, without changing the values stored in the Products table.

Now the screen should look like "Fig 4" shown above.  The procedure is now completed.  Close the "TimeDefinition" form, then close the "Shop Floor Control Configuration" form.

When exporting using the MRPlite Planner exporting form(labelled "Scheduling Plans"), select the period definition desired, and the leadtime data outputted will be converted correctly to the desired period definition( ie Calendar months) . Note,  this will not change any of the data stored in the Products table.
